Early Steps Clinic Assistant

Salary is $15.91 per hour (full-time 37.5 hours per week plus insurance and time off benefits)

Easterseals Florida is seeking a dynamic, organized, and detail-oriented individual for the position of Clinic Assistant for our Treasure Coast Early Steps Program in Port St. Lucie, Florida.  The Clinic Assistant will provide support for our team of clinic evaluators in our Early Steps program serving children from birth to age three and their families. 

The Clinic Assistant is responsible for the coordination of the developmental evaluation clinic for children and their families referred to the Early Steps program.  This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing the evaluation process with the families and completing all paperwork, maintaining the clinic equipment and supplies, ensuring billing and referral documents are submitted timely, and performing general office duties.  The position requires a high volume of family and customer contact, speaking with families on a regular basis regarding their appointment and documentation needs. This position also requires travel to different clinic locations. The Clinic Assistant will be part of a team where independence and strong organizational skills are valued and required.

  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Database systems
