Pay rate will be $725.00 per week

Easterseals Florida is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual to fill our seasonal camp nurse (LPN or RN) position at Camp Challenge in Sorrento, Florida to make a difference in the lives of adults and children with disabilities and special needs during our upcoming summer camp. As the camp nurse, you will coordinate services to meet the health care needs of campers in an outdoor recreation setting.

Summer Camp Schedule

• June 2-8, 2024 (staff training week)
• June 9-15, 2024 (session 1)
  
• June 16-28, 2024 (session 2)
• June 30-July 12, 2024 (session 3)
• July 14-17, 2024 (session 4)
• July 21-27, 2024 (session 5)
• July 28-August 3, 2024 (session 6)

Qualifications:

• Current Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to assist in the physical care of our campers including lifting and transferring
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities and special needs is preferred
