Pediatric Therapist (Physical, Occupational, or Speech)

Salary will be between $37.00 to $47.00 per hour (and based on experience)

Part time position working up to 29 hours per week

We are looking for a passionate, innovative, and dynamic Pediatric Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of evaluators. The Pediatric Therapist works with a team of experienced evaluators conducting inter-disciplinary developmental evaluations for children aged birth to three for the purpose of determining program eligibility and to increase each child's unique developmental and learning opportunities. A snapshot of what you'll do:

  • Perform Part C eligibility and therapy evaluations and write treatment plans
  • Provide early intervention therapy services in the natural environment to infants and toddlers who are at risk for developmental disabilities as part of the Florida Early Steps Program as needed
  • Guide and teach parents and other caregivers on how they can use certain strategies to support their children's learning and development during the family's everyday routines and activities

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from a four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and or training
  • Florida Professional License (Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist)
  • Florida Medicaid Provider Number preferred
  • NPI Number preferred
  • Knowledgeable of infant and toddler development
  • Experience working with birth to 3 population is preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
  • Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required, for program related business (minimum age of 21 and good driving history)
