Senior Director of Development

Salary will be between $65,000 to $71,000 (based on experience), plus insurance and time off benefits

Easterseals Florida is seeking a Senior Director of Development to lead strategic efforts in increasing financial support and community awareness for our programs and services in Hillsborough County and greater Tampa area. This role involves planning and executing fundraising activities, engaging with stakeholders, and fostering relationships to meet fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement fundraising plans to secure corporate, organizational, and foundation gifts
  • Manage fundraising infrastructure to support various giving strategies, stewardship, and donor data management
  • Organize and execute annual signature events
  • Identify, recruit, and develop candidates for the local advisory board
  • Participate in community networking events and personally solicit donors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Fundraising goal achievement and relevant experience
  • Dynamic leadership and supervisory skills
  • CFRE certification desirable
  • Non-profit experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and meet driving qualifications
  • Event planning and sponsorship solicitation experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, Canva, and donor database software
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Available for evening and weekend events when needed
  • Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required, to drive to meetings and for other business-related needs (minimum age of 21 and good driving history)
