Therapist (Speech, Physical, or Occupational) - Part-Time

Salary will be up to $31.00 per hour (Part-time position - 24 hours per week)

About the Position:

We are looking for a passionate, innovative, and dynamic Speech Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist to join our team of evaluators.  The Speech Language Pathologist, Physcial Thereapist or Occupational Therapist works with a team of experienced evaluators conducting inter-disciplinary developmental evaluations for children aged birth to three for the purpose of determining program eligibility and to increase each child's unique developmental and learning opportunities.   Easterseals Florida is seeking an individual who is able to develop positive relationships with children and families and is willing to coach and share their knowledge and skills with the families and other professionals.

The ideal candidate holds a professional Florida license in their chosen profession and is eager to provide early intervention therapy services in the natural environment to infants and toddlers who are at risk for developmental disabilities as part of the Florida Early Steps Program. The Speech Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist guides and teaches parents and other caregivers on how they can use certain strategies to support their children's learning and development during the family's everyday routines and activities.

  • Master's degree from a four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and or training
  • Florida Professional License (Speech Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist)
  • Florida Medicaid Provider Number preferred
  • NPI Number preferred
  • Knowledgeable of infant and toddler development
  • Experience working with birth to 3 population is preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
  • Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required to drive for program related business
