Administrative Assistant

Salary will be between $15.23 to $16.00 per hour (based on experience), full time 37.5 hours per week (plus insurance and time off benefits)

A snapshot of what you'll do:

  • Provide general clerical support such as making copies, faxing documents, filing, and organizing
  • Answer phones and greet guests
  • Sort and distribute mail and faxes
  • Draft correspondence, perform data entry, and prepare monthly reports
  • Order supplies
  • Work with accounting on receiving and depositing checks and/or ACH payments


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six (6) months' related experience
  • Experience in processing high volume electronic filing
  • A passion for helping others
  • Must be a pro-active problem solver with the ability to multi-task while maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • High level organization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel), the Internet, Adobe, and database programs (data entry skills)
  • Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
  • Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects
  • Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required, for Easterseals Florida business-related needs (minimum age of 21 and good driving history)
